Community Involvement

To grow and prosper, communities require care. It is the work of many hands ... sharing many talents, many hours, and many gifts. One generation teaches the next the importance of healthy minds, bodies, and spirits. The Washington Group and Managing Partner, Leo Tucker recognize the importance of giving back to their community.

TWG Interns Volunteer at SOME (So Others Might Eat)
SOME is community-based organization that exists to help the poor and homeless of our nation's capital. SOME meets the immediate daily needs of the people we serve with food, clothing, and health care. In addition, the organization helps to break the cycle of homelessness by offering services, such as affordable housing, job training, addiction treatment, and counseling, to the poor, the elderly and individuals with mental illness. Pictured below are the Summer 2009 interns along with Erin Richey our Director of Campus Selection and Liz Wolf, Executive Assistant to our Managing Partner.
